Community Drum Circle

Gather with us for a Community Drum Circle, November 19!

About Your Instructor:
Chris Camilon has been playing drums and percussion for 32 years. A graduate of Cal State Long Beach with a bachelors in music, Chris emphasized his focus on Classical percussion, Drumset, and World Percussion. Having studied genres in Cuban, African, Brazilian, and Caribbean cultures, Chris strongly believes that rhythm is within us all and can be a very empowering and healing energy.

Played alone or in a group, drums are very therapeutic and spiritual vehicle. In a drum circle setting, we will explore rhythm together. We will play together in unison and within each other. We will will learn to produce sound and communicate with our instrument.

Drums and percussion instruments will be provided. But, if you have any drums or percussion at home, please feel free to bring them and we will explore together. It will be a day of community through rhythm! All ages welcome!
